BetGames Partners with Hollywoodbets for Bespoke Shova 52 in SA

Leading provider of innovative gaming solutions, BetGames, has announced the expansion of its catalog of bespoke casino titles with the fresh release of an exclusive card game, Shova 52.

The game, which made its debut on the South African market on June 4, was developed alongside sports and entertainment betting operator born and bred in Durban, Hollywoodbets.

Shova 52 was inspired by Call A Card, a game preferred by the locals.

Keeping the Momentum

The launch follows the extremely successful release of the provider’s debut crash game Skyward at the end of November 2023.

Shortly after the official release, BetGames announced it would deliver the branded version of the game to Betway.

At the start of January 2024, the developer released similar news for the Brazilian market via Betano.

The pioneer in the realm of inventive gaming solutions and the operator that has introduced online, telephonic, and cell phone betting are both eager to harness Skyward’s prominence to strengthen and grow their positions in the SA market.

The latter is expected to generate $828.50 million in 2024.

A Card Game Like No Other

Shova 52 has been introduced as a card game like no other. Players are asked to predict which card will land on the “Player” position on the table once 52 cards have been dealt alternately to the Dealer and the Player.

The simple concept was executed with the developer’s constant attention to detail, which helped it strike the perfect balance between quick gameplay and good winning potential.

In a LinkedIn post, the company’s vice-president for Africa and LatAm, James Everett, called the launch of Shova 52 “another milestone in BetGames’ commitment to innovation and delivering cutting-edge content to the dynamic gambling industry.”

He went further to say that the achievement underscores the developer’s position “as a frontrunner in the field” that is constantly engaged in providing players with rewarding experiences.

Everett took the opportunity to express their delight to carry on their “fruitful relationship with tier-one operator Hollywoodbets” which is expected to support their “ambitious growth plans in South Africa.”

The VP added the game has been “created with meticulous care” to make sure Hollywoodbets players would enjoy optimal gaming experiences while associating BetGames with state-of-the-art technology.

Everett also spoke about the new game as a means of strengthening the “longstanding partnership” between BetGames and Hollywoodbets, displaying “the synergy and collaborative spirit between the two entities.”
