One theory that spread across the internet was that Reynolds himself would play the part. But he’s now confirmed that’s not true, and he claims he has no idea who got the role.

Lady Deadpool is in Deadpool & Wolverine because the film features the Deadpool Corps, which is a team of Deadpools from alternate universes. Cowboy Deadpool is also in the movie.
